CHS Students Attend Science & Technology Workshop at Disneyland
Marseilles Chavez

A group of 27 of Central High School's top credit earners were recently given an opportunity to attend Disney's Imagination Campus: Science and Technology Workshop at Disneyland Park. During the all-day event, students learned about how Disneyland Imagineers dream, design and use technology to enhance the guest experience. "These students earned this privilege by completing at least 50 credits this school year, with 17 of the attendees earning more than 70 credits or having met their graduation requirements," CHS Principal Rafael Navarro said.

CHS students created their own light and firework shows using the latest computer programming technology and got a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of how the Star Wars attraction, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, operates. Afterward, CHS students explored the rest of the park on their own, where they got to enjoy the opportunity of making their own memories. "Great job, Centurions," Navarro said. "You make Central High School proud."
